Dear Friends and Supporters: 

His Excellency President Bharrat Jagdeo of Guyana has granted an acre of land to our sister organization, the Guyana Karate College to build its Headquarters Dojo. The aim of the college is to help young people find direction in life and break the cycle of crime and violence in Guyana through karate training. Thus far, the GKC members in Guyana has raised approximately G$10 million with a goal of reaching $49 million in total to build the dojo. One million Guyana dollars is about US$5,000.00.

ISKF Ontario and members of its Toronto Guyanese community is helping this worthy cause by holding its first benefit dance in the hope of making a significant contribution, not only for Guyanese youth, but for youth everywhere.

I sincerely hope our members, friends and supporters will contribute to our effort in any of the following way: attendance, cash donation, food donation, etc.

Henry Wishropp, Chairman of the GKC Toronto Alumni Association is spearheading this drive.
